Vidunder is a bluesy rock band with a touch of garage, influenced by the music from the 60’s and the 70’s. The band teamed up with Crusher Records and released their self-titled debut album in May 2013; an album praised by numerous major magazines, press and fans. After several tours over Europe it’s definitely about time… A new killer album is coming up!

…back in 2010, when Martin Prim, Jens Rasmussen, Elis Edin Markskog and Johannes Cronquist started the band Abrakadabra in Växjö, Sweden. The band quickly managed to record a few tracks before two of the band members moved to Malmö, Sweden. Due to the distance rehearsing was close to nonexistent with the current line-up, and Martin Prim decided to team up with Linus Larsson and Jonas Sjöqvist to form a new band: Vidunder.

Vidunder was formed in April 2011 in Växjö. The trio started to write songs and jam all day and night, but they also kept some of the old Abrakadabra songs. After only two weeks of rehearsal the band recorded what was to become their debut single “Asmodeus”. And the first show ever was on the “open stage” at the festival Fest i Logen in May the same year. The single was release as a 7-inch by Crusher Records on November 25th, 2011.

Vidunder followed up the record release with live shows around Sweden, and played with bands such as Spiders, Trummor & Orgel and Dean Allen Foyd, to name a few.

In May 2012 drummer Jonas Sjöqvist left the band. Martin and Linus moved to Malmö, and the good old friend Jens Rasmussen from Abrakadabra became their new drummer.

In late 2012 Vidunder began the recording of their debut album, and was completed in early 2013. The brand new self-titled ten tracks album was released in May 24th, 2013, via Crusher Records.

The band did a couple of tours in 2013 and 2014 in countries like Germany, Espana, Portugal, France, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Italy, Great Britain, Lithuania, Switzerland and Austria.
In 2014 the trio also became a quartet when the old good friend Johannes Cronquist from Abrakadabra joined the band on organ.

The band wrote more songs, working on their sound, played here and there. And right after the almost one month long Creatures of the North tour with Horisont and Spiders, the band jumped into the studio again. This time the band teamed up with Emil Isaksson at Studio Möllan in Malmö, and recorded their second album “Oracles & Prophets”. The album was released in May 20th, 2015 via Crusher Records.
